Junk Mail Avalanche… How to stop the onslaught!

This past week I got to catch up with a client who I have met with about 2-3 times a year over the past several years.  Yes, that is correct… getting organized is not a one and done kind of thing.  Getting organized and staying on top of a dynamic life full of work, hobbies, home and family, as many of you know, is a lot of work.  Thankfully she and I have forged a sweet relationship and she proudly calls me in for back up!

She has a mail issue, can anyone relate.  She keeps a lovely home and you would never know when you enter her tidy main level that she has hidden away boxes and boxes of papers, mail, catalogs and cards (thankfully not bills.)  So a few times a year, when it has become too overwhelming, she give me a call and I come, and we sort and toss and file….

Thank you, please come again

Last week’s class was a HUGE success. We were just about out of space and a few who rsvp’d weren’t able to make it! Thank you to all who were there, it was a pleasure meeting each of you.

We covered four things in the class:

Identifying clutter

Space and containers

Managing mail by “opting out”

Recycling – local resources

It was a lot of information to take in. Hopefully all those in attendance took away some helpful tools to get life in order.

Jessica Bair has been organizing and reorganizing since she was a little girl: one of her favorite pastimes as a kid was rearranging her bedroom furniture! Who knew thirty years later she would build a thriving company based on helping people change their environment so they could better enjoy their life and surroundings. Jessica grew up in Dallas, TX, but quickly escaped west to go to college at NMSU where she met and married her husband, Dave, of 16 years.
