Thank you, please come again

Last week’s class was a HUGE success. We were just about out of space and a few who rsvp’d weren’t able to make it! Thank you to all who were there, it was a pleasure meeting each of you.

We covered four things in the class:

Identifying clutter

Space and containers

Managing mail by “opting out”

Recycling – local resources

It was a lot of information to take in. Hopefully all those in attendance took away some helpful tools to get life in order.

Your Colorado Springs Professional Organizer

Jessica Bair has been organizing and reorganizing since she was a little girl: one of her favorite pastimes as a kid was rearranging her bedroom furniture! Who knew thirty years later she would build a thriving company based on helping people change their environment so they could better enjoy their life and surroundings. Jessica grew up in Dallas, TX, but quickly escaped west to go to college at NMSU where she met and married her husband, Dave, of 16 years. Married life brought new organizational challenges, two children, seven moves (two international), several fish, a gerbil, a dog, job changes and building a company.

Delegate to Downsize, Outsource to Organize

So every Wednesday morning my alarm goes off and my most productive business day begins. My Wednesday morning networking meeting is most likely the most important part of my week. Weather it is helping one of my chapter members streamline their home office, passing a referral for a client’s new roof or remodel or receiving a referral myself, Wednesday mornings is when I get to do the business of business.

I remember a time when they were necessary, but in the digital age I think it is safe to say they may only be used as a booster seat at granny’s house or perhaps a doorstop in the summertime when they are rediscovered languishing in their blue or yellow bag still on the front porch.

Home Office Organization

Home Office… a well thought out hub of activity, bill paying, filing, crafting, computing and home based business center, or black hole of misery, piles, stacks, late fees, phone messages and last year’s school work? How can the black hole find its way to the light at the end of the tunnel?

Making the Move to Blog…

Thanks for stopping in to have a look around. We have updated and changed a few things here at MASMovement.com, but the goal remains the same… freedom, joy and loving the space you live in!

I realize there are a million and one blogs out there, so why hang around here? My hope is to pass on useful information to readers about other locally owned businesses, products I love and can’t live without, and perhaps the odd anecdote about, how although I make a business of getting and keeping other organized, sometimes life conspires against me and I find myself asking questions like, “how would I work through this with a client?”

So sign up, check in and/or leave feedback & questions on how I can best serve you.  Stay more connected, by “liking” our Facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/MAS.Movement
